Dear Parents and Caregivers
I’m sure that many of you are getting caught up in the excitement of the soccer World Cup. This time, we have an extra special connection as one of our former students is playing for the Socceroos. Keep an eye out for #4 Jacob Italiano. He is a former Mary Mac student who has followed his dreams all the way to the pinnacle of his sport. I hope that he is providing our students with the inspiration to follow their dreams, no matter what they are. I have spoken to his Aunty Lisa, who works in our St Joseph Centre, about the possibility of him visiting his former school the next time he is in town. Wouldn’t that be amazing!!

School Photos It’s time to get the shoe polish out and get our students looking their absolute best for our school photos which will be taken on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 June. Please make sure that all students come to school in their correct winter uniform (this should be happening every day anyway). If you are unsure what the uniform looks like, please go to the school’s website where it is very clearly shown. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as it is always challenging phoning parents on photo day, trying to get the missing bits of uniform to your children so they don’t miss out or look out of place.
Reports I have now read every student’s comments to see how well they have done so far this year. The teachers are just finalising the grades and the finishing touches will be applied over the coming week or so. The reports will go online for you to access on Monday, 29 June at 4.00pm. If you would like to speak to your child’s teacher, please make an appointment to do so.
Kindergarten 2027 I am well into the enrolment process for next year’s intake. If you have a younger child who is coming here next year, please contact the front office immediately.
