From the Principal – Term 2, Week 9

From the Principal – Term 2, Week 9

As we come to the end of another term, it is worthwhile reflecting upon the journey we have travelled so far this year. Whilst the severity of Covid has passed, we are still feeling its impact with some people still catching it. Like all industries, we are also having difficulty finding relief staff when our own members are away. On many occasions this semester, the Assistant Principals, Lisa Liebregts and Tim Maxwell have had to jump into the classrooms and teach, otherwise there wouldn’t have been anybody covering that day. This has meant that they have had to put their own jobs on hold and play catch ups later, adding to the big workload they already have. We don’t often acknowledge our Assistant Principals and the huge amount of work they do behind the scenes, but when you see them next, please show them your gratitude as I know I couldn’t do my job without them.
