P & F 2021

We have almost put together a P & F for 2021. If you are interested in helping out then please see the office.

P & F Second Hand Uniform Shop

Anita will be at the book pick up day on Thursday 28th January 2021 selling second hand uniforms in the hall and will continue selling second hand uniforms in the P & F room near the netball courts once school starts. If you would like to purchase any second-hand uniforms, please contact Anita Andrews on 0412 866 588. Payments can be made by cash or direct deposit to the P & F account: (BSB: 066 167; AC: 105 100 78; Ref: “Uniform” + Receipt Number).

If you have any unwanted uniform items, please drop them into the office to be donated to our shop.

The second hand uniform shop is operated by our parent volunteers, with proceeds going back to our school community.

2020 Summary

Our aim for the P & F in 2020 was to focus on ‘friend-raising’ and building our school community spirit. We were able to successfully provide all of the usual P & F events despite the difficulties that the year presented. We provided the Family Fun Night; Easter Raffle and Colouring In Competition; Mother’s Day Stall; Silver Coin Challenge; Morning Teas; Father’s Day Stall and Raffle; Sport Carnival Hairspray; Movie Night; and Disco. It was clear at all our events that our families thoroughly enjoyed coming together as a school community. We definitely achieved our goal of building our school community this year.

The other benefit of our events being so well attended and supported was that we were able to make a massive donation back to the school this year! We donated tablets for the IT program; gratitude gifts to the teachers and staff in recognition of the significant extra work that they put into ensuring our students could continue their education throughout the restrictions; a double set of Polydron XL construction blocks for the undercover area; equipment for the MMCCPS Netball Club; and our largest donation towards the nature playground upgrade: the flying fox and the creek bed. Thank you for supporting your P & F so that we could achieve all of this. Together we have enriched the school experience for our children.

I sincerely thank everyone who has helped the P & F in any way this year. I would like to especially thank the 2020 Executive Committee: Samantha Parry, Tara Clark, Melissa Richardson and Daniel Armenti. Thank you to my little side-kick Claudia, who was so patient while spending so much time at school on P & F business. A special thank you to Melissa Carlson and Raelene Kerin who worked tirelessly on the Committee. Thank you to Anita Andrews for running the P & F 2nd hand uniform shop. Thank you to Amy Lam and Dee Wright for running the school banking. Thank you to the Class Reps for providing cupcakes for Cupcake Day and for being the conduit between the P & F and your class. Thank you also to the school leadership team and the staff for your help and support always. It is very easy to underestimate the amount of work required to run the P & F and all the events. Your help has not gone unnoticed and our school community is very grateful for it! Together we have enriched the school experience for our children. Thank you.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holidays with your families.

Signing off for the last time as P & F President.
