St Vincent De Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal

Our school will be assisting the Ballajura Conference of the St Vincent de Paul Society by providing Christmas Hampers to families in need in our community.  Every child will be asked to bring in an item of food to contribute to their class hamper.  If you have the capacity to contribute, this would be greatly appreciated. A letter explaining the appeal will be emailed to families by the end of the week.
This appeal is a very special way in which you can make a difference to families in need in our community in their celebration of Christmas.

This event will take place on Wednesday 24th November at 9.00am.

Remembrance Day

We would like to sincerely thank the Ballajura RSL for kindly donating the poppies for our children to wear tomorrow at our whole school ceremony in the school hall on Thursday at 11.00am.

Supporting children at home through friendship ups and downs can be challenging. Knowing how to respond can be stressful.

You are invited to join Dana Kerford, founder of URSTRONG. You and your child will learn about her unique “language of friendship”, and she will share her favourite tips and tools and some easy to use friendship strategies that really click with kids. Dana’s sessions are always a great boost or pick me up for children.

Watch online or get access to replay at a later date – Thursday 11th November 6PM – 7.30PM AEST – 4pm Perth time. Cost $10

Dana will also give you a guided tour of her website so you know where to access hundreds of free resources.
