Bible and Sons

Bible and Sons is a film inspired by the life of the refugees.  A story based on war-torn South Sudan.  The film recounts the horrors of war and the migration process of fleeing a war-torn nation.

The film blends in the very real struggle many South Sudanese families experience both living at home and abroad. Bible and Sons also portray the difficulties adjusting to a new life in their host nations.

The story is told through facing reality in the family, difficult encounters with unwelcoming bureaucratic systems of democracy, new society, freedom and all of the efforts to bequeath a better work for their children.

One of our students Phelmon Mabeny 5B is one of the actors in this film.  Showing at Grand Warwick Cinemas commencing on the 10th April.
